Terms of Service
Last Updated:
The rules of the road.
Effective Date: February 4, 2026
Welcome to Libronauts. By using our website, you agree to these terms. We keep them simple.
1. Respect the Content
- Our Stuff: The Libronauts logo, the website design, and the underlying code are ours. Please don’t steal them.
- Your Stuff: When you upload a photo or enter a name, you grant us a limited license to use that content to generate your book. You retain ownership of your personal data.
Your Child’s Likeness License
By uploading photos and providing your child’s information, you grant Libronauts a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the child’s name, likeness, and photos solely for creating personalized books, artwork, and related products that you order.
Here’s what that means in plain English:
- Limited Scope: This permission covers ONLY the creation of YOUR ordered products. Nothing else.
- Never Public: We will NEVER use your child’s likeness for marketing, promotional content, social media, public-facing materials, or any other commercial purpose without your separate, explicit written permission.
- Your Authority: You represent that you are the parent or guardian with legal authority to grant this permission.
- You’re in Control: You can revoke this license anytime by requesting deletion of your data. Contact us at
and we’ll remove everything.
2. Acceptable Use
Don’t be a jerk.
- Do not upload offensive, illegal, or hateful content.
- Do not try to hack our site or spam our users.
- We reserve the right to ban any user who violates this (and cancel their orders).
3. Product Availability
We rely on third-party printers and AI services. Sometimes servers down, sometimes printers jam. We will do our absolute best to get your book to you on time, but we cannot guarantee perfect uptime or specific delivery dates during peak seasons (like Christmas).
4. Limitation of Liability
We love books, but we aren’t responsible if using our site somehow causes you trouble (like if your kid loves the book so much they refuse to sleep). Legally speaking: our liability is limited to the amount you paid us.
5. Changes
We might update these terms. If we do something big, we’ll email you.
6. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
