A clear, well-lit face photo works best — a recent photo where you can see their face clearly. Smiling or neutral expressions both work well. You don't need a professional photograph; most phone photos are perfectly suitable. If your photo has multiple people, note which child the book is for and we'll focus on them.

The illustrations are created specifically from your child's photo and will reflect their actual appearance — not a generic character. Yes. Before you commit to purchasing, you receive a preview showing a character portrait, the book cover, and a sample spread. You can request changes to the character's appearance, story details, or any other element before we finalize and print. We only print when you're fully satisfied.
